We put the 16th ride on Perks and Freedom. They both did well again as usual!

Dustin and I rode Perks Lucky Legacy and Pacific Wrangler Jet in the arena for their 15th rides- asked Perks to lope for the first time and she handled it great. AWESOME with her lead and soooo sooo soo smooth! I am really excited about her! I rode Freedom and it was her 2nd time loping and she did great with her leads and is very fluid. I really like the way she rides and have very high hopes for her! :)

Took Perks Lucky Legacy and Pacific Wrangler Jet to Matsell Bridge for our large group (20 riders) Trail ride. they both did wonderful. We rode for two hours and they both did so well. Really happy with them!

Went out and rode Perks Lucky Legacy and Pacific Wrangler Jet in the arena. They both did really well. Perks is sooooooo smooth at the trot, a little lazy; but it will come with more rides and confidence. Freedom did GREAT!! She is such a natural. Very smooth and she moves right out. She rides like she was born running barrels. She really turns nice and correct already with little time. I am very happy about them!!

Took Perks Lucky Legacy and Doc Ode riding down the road, they both did well. Went back and dropped Odee off and picked up Pacific Wrangler Jet and went back out to the trails behind our house with the two fillies. They both did really really well, did some long trotting out in the back. Really happy with the progress of both of them for their 12th rides.

Hauled Perks Lucky Legacy and Pacific Wrangler Jet to the barrel race in Deep River, IA with Double Galatea. We had time to saddle Perks and ride her around. She did well for her 11th ride.

Perks Lucky Legacy had her 10th Ride. Took her and Dashin For Freedom out on the trails and did some walking and trotting and she did wonderful. Really happy with how far she is coming.

I rode Dashin For Freedom for his first ride back trying to get him legged back up while Dustin rode Perks Lucky Legacy and Pacific Wrangler Jet in the arena... walked and trotted, lifted up barrels, threw barrels, rode Perks bareback. They both did great! Was Pacific Wrangler Jet's 11th ride and Perks Lucky Legacy's 9th Ride.

Hauled Pacific Wrangler Jet and Perks Lucky Legacy along to Laddies for the MUDDY jackpot where I ran Double Galatea. It was freezing and super muddy so I just ponied Perks Lucky Legacy off of Double Galatea in the arena... and rode Pacific Wrangler Jet for about an hour!!!! Rode her in the arena and all over outside on the rodeo grounds. She was a little nervous/ready to go but she rode nicely. She really uses her body well and think shes going to make a nice athlete!! I hauled by myself so no pictures of me riding :(

Hauled Perks Lucky Legacy (8th ride) and Pacific Wrangler Jet (9th ride) to the Fisher's Rodeo in Coggon, Iowa. (I ran Double Galatea and she won the 4th place check) Dustin rode Pacific Wrangler Jet around the arena during the warm ups with the bulls, chutes, roping boxes, banners, flags, etc -- she did really really well!! Was very happy with her for her 9th ride. I led Perks Lucky Legacy around the arena off of Double Galatea and then I rode her around the rodeo grounds and she did well. Her biggest thing is just being confident by herself - but she is rodeo broke already! Really excited about her!!

Took Perks Lucky Legacy (7th ride) and Pacific Wrangler Jet (8th ride) to the Fun Show at the Lazy L Rodeo grounds .... (I hauled Double Galatea and worked her through barrels and poles and she won both classes :) They both rode around in the dark while the show was going on... out around the rodeo grounds and both did great. Was super happy with both of them!!

Hauled Pacific Wrangler Jet to the Jackpot where I entered Double Galatea (ran 1D) and rode her around the arena before the rodeo started. It was her 7th ride... she was really nervous at first - the wooden spools were scary to her... saw the bucking chutes, steers, calves, announcer stand, etc - it was a whole new ball game for her... The ground was freshly drug and nice and deep... did lots of long trotting and working off the fence.... Got to lope a little bit but she wasnt very confident so we didnt push it. :) I hauled by myself so got NO Pictures or Videos of her, Sorry!!

Dustin got on her while she was eating bareback and he slid of her butt :)

Pacific Wrangler Jet's 6th Ride - Put her in draw reins to help keep her collected and control of her nose - she wasnt a very big fan at first but really came around.

Perks Lucky Legacy's 4th Ride. Walked and trotted really nicely. Starting to break at the poll nicely and really use her hind end.

Pacific Wrangler Jet's 4th Ride - she is doing GREAT! Loping Circles and trotting nicely, starting to use her butt and get a nice stop under her.

We sent Wallys Twisted Chick home from 60 days training with us. The gal rode her here and just loved her. She worked so nicely. One of the smartest horses we've put time on. Look for her in the barrel pen in a few years! :)

Then he unsaddled her and rode her bareback and halter and lead rope back to the back pasture.

Got on Perks again and decided to ride her around the arena - Dustin led me and I had an o ring on her giving her the cues. Shes gonna be a fun little mare in a couple years! Cant wait! Also saddled Freedom and let her stand tied with the o ring in her mouth too! :)

Got Perks saddled and longed her around... I ended up getting on her - just sitting on her and doing lots of getting on and off of both sides. She is so fun - I just love her.

Had the farrier out to trim Freedom and she did wonderful! He did a very nice job and took his time with her. She did GREAT! Lifted all four feet with no fight and he said she has some really nice feet! Grows nice thick hoof wall and has nice strong soles! Awesome!!

Got Freedom out, tied her up, roped her head, butt and legs.... picked up her front feet and picked them out... cut her halter notch and brushed her out real good and got some pictures of her :)

Well I had a gal call me wanting to trade me a filly for some training... wasn't real interested then she told me she was Dash For Cash and Easy Jet bred.... got my attention but figured it was way off the papers or something... then told me she was Freedom Flyer bred.... (Cash is a Grandson and have been looking all over for another prospect with FF breeding) THEN she told me she was double bred Pacific Bailey... after getting pictures sent to me of her and seeing her papers I agreed to go look at her....  http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/pacific+wrangler+jet

Long story short I am riding the gals 3 year old for 60 days in return for "Freedom" My new 3 year old filly who has never been touched... is barely halter broke and never had her feet done! This is what she looked like when we got her home and backed out of the trailer.....
